Strategic Lead, Organisational Development

Location: YMCA London South West (Corporate Office, Surbiton)
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours of Work: 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Annual Salary: £40,000.00 per annum
Closing date: 9am, 16 June 2017  

YMCA London South West and YMCA East London have recently merged. This new organisation which is called YMCA London South West has resulted in a growing presence across South, South West and East London. The Association is part of the affiliated YMCA Christian Movement, offering opportunities to young people and their communities to develop in mind, body and spirit in order to fulfil their potential.

A new opportunity has arisen for a talented Strategic Lead for Organisational Development to design and deliver the people and organisational development strategies and management changes that support the Association’s strategic and operational plans, providing information advice and services as required.  Working with Area Directors and key Strategic Leaders the focus is to implement a programme of continuous organisational performance improvements which will enable the Association to deliver its key business objectives and become a high performing organisation.  This role will oversee the delivery of Learning and Development and Employee Engagement to ensure effective information exchange and the implementation of effective processes to increase staff satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified or hold a degree in Organisational Development or other relevant discipline.  He/she will bring an innovative approach to developing participative training programmes with a broad knowledge of adult learning styles.  In addition, we are looking for someone who has significant experience and knowledge of a range of talent management and succession interventions in complex, multi-site organisation.
