Hours of work: 40 hours per week. Flexible hours to cover the rota, hours between 7.00am – 3.00pm, plus occasional evenings and weekends
Annual salary: £19,740 per annum

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and motivate a staff team providing a high-quality cleaning and laundry service within YMCA Surbiton and move on properties; keeping the premises clean, tidy and safe and creating a pleasant environment for staff, residents and all other Centre users by overseeing the morning housekeeping, evening cleaning and late night gym cleaning.
You will be responsible for the recruitment, induction and performance of the housekeeping team, to plan their daily workload ensuring the full range of cleaning duties are adhered to and to be aware of health and safety matters at all times. It is essential to have experience of managing and motivating a staff team, have an understanding of cleaning materials and effective cleaning methods and the ability to lead and develop a staff team.
This role is subject to safeguarding checks including a DBS check in line with YMCA LSW procedures. YMCA LSW is a Christian organisation and as an employee, you will be required to respect the Christian ethos of the YMCA and uphold its values.
