Based at: YMCA White House, Hampton
Hours of Work: Various hours available to cover weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
Hourly salary: £8.30 per hour (pay award pending)

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to assist in all aspects of the running of the Café and Functions at YMCA White House. You will provide excellent customer service, preparing and cooking simple but wholesome food and serving drinks to a high standard; maximise income and customer satisfaction within the Café; keep all catering areas clean and well stocked, whilst working on your own or with others.
It is essential to hold a current food hygiene certificate, or obtain one within three months of starting; possess good verbal communication skills; to have experience of food preparation and presentation; to have the ability to calculate cash transactions and handle cash quickly and accurately. It would be an advantage to have worked in sales or customer service, or to have experience of Café procedures such as cashing up, till operation, and awareness of special diets.
