Duty Manager

Based at: Hampton Pool
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (worked on a rota basis, including weekends and public holidays)
Yearly salary: £22,580 per annum
Closing date: midday on Wednesday 16 March 2016

Reporting to the General Manager, the Duty Manager will assist with the operation of the centre ensuring a high quality service to our customers through leading and motivating staff on duty, maintaining high standards of water quality; health, safety and security of the premises; undertaking specific tasks as a member of the senior staff team to assist in the running and further development of the pool and its facilities.  A high standard of customer care is essential and to actively promote the wellbeing of Hampton Pool by presenting a friendly, welcoming and high quality service.  Maintain good communications with staff on a regular and formal basis, ensuring policies are understood and performance targets are achieved.

Experience of working in the leisure industry and delivering a wide range of leisure activities is sought together with a working knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and emergency regulations.  It is essential to hold a pool lifeguard qualification or to have achieved this within two months of taking up duties; able to work unsocial hours, early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
